Meet Ms. Katie
Granite Bay has always been home! I was born and raised right here in the house that’s now Three Acres Preschool. It’s a joy to have raised my own three children in this wonderful community and I’m deeply invested in its future. With 16 years of preschool teaching experience, including 9 years in Granite Bay, I have a strong foundation in child development and early learning practices. My goal is to share that knowledge and nurture the young minds of our community.
At Three Acres preschool we believe play and peer socialization are essential components of early childhood education. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed spaces where children explore, play, and learn surrounded by elements that connect them to the outdoors. From nature walks and gardening projects to sensory play with natural materials, we strive to make every moment a meaningful learning oppurtunity. Our desire is to build a solid academic foundation in our students while developing their cognitive, social, and emotional skills in a holistic and joyful manner. We know that the first 5 years are the most important years of your child’s life, and we are excited to assist you in making them the healthiest, happiest, and most creative they can be.
